Another Opinion on Adobe’s Upgrade Policy

November 22, 2011

I write often on this blog and I think I do a good job.

But when others hit the nail on the head, I’m willing to share the good words.  And that is what Scott Kelby has done on his blog.  As many of you know who use Photoshop, Scott Kelby is one of the preeminent names when it comes to Photoshop instruction.  He and his stable of instructors are the best out there.  Period.  Scott is also the president of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.  Needless to say, his name carries a lot of weight.

His blog post here hits it right in the bulls-eye.  In short, save this draconian measure for the upgrade to Photoshop CS7.  Let folks prepare.  Or come up with a better scheme that rewards those who upgrade more often and makes it more expensive for those who don’t.  Good words that I couldn’t agree with more.
