Quick Flash… Lightroom 4 Beta has been released
I should be in bed at this hour, but the football game and some work prep for tomorrow kept me up later than normal.
Hot off the presses (and at this time labeled with tomorrow’s date…must have been set for Eastern time) is that the initial beta of Lightroom 4 has been released. There was some expectation that an update was in the works. Lightroom 3 was released in June 2010 and previous versions have been on a (more or less) two year release cycle. The initial set of new specs sounded interesting, though honestly I’ve not had a solid read.
I don’t anticipate participating in the beta right away. Far too many other irons in the fire. But I will read the reviews, rants, and praises. Maybe later in the summer I’ll give it a spin.
