It seems to be a skipping record (or a corrupted .mp3 file for those of you too young to remember vinyl). Reasonable weather during the week, but once Friday rolls around the skies have turned dark and liquid sunshine comes from the sky for the weekend. But in the big picture I’m not complaining. Any rain this year is good rain here in Texas.
The clouds did clear for a little while on Saturday so I was able to find my way back out to Cook’s Slough in between the storms. I will blog about that hopefully later in the week. This week is supposed to be a busy week for me with a certification test on the horizon and a couple of deadlines of a non-photographic variety as we stumble towards the holidays.
About the image:
One of the highlights of my trip out to Cook’s Slough was this Texas Spotted Range Grasshopper (Psoloessa texana) who posed really pretty for me for a number of frames.
